Elementary Years:
Second-Sixth Grades

As Montessori serves as our primary vehicle for driving toward our vision in the Early Childhood years (Toddler, Preschool, Kindergarten, and First Grade), it also serves as the basis of our elementary school offerings.

Our Second and Third Grade academic years meld Montessori with additional personalized methodologies including Singapore Math and Project Based Learning. This dynamic mix provides curricular continuity and challenges our students as they mature both academically and socially, preparing them well for Fourth through Sixth Grades and eventually secondary school and beyond.

| Elementary School Classrooms

In all of our elementary school classrooms, our science, social studies, and language arts curricula are taught by subject matter experts.

Central to our elementary school years is a strong focus on character development and growing the 21st century skills that are so critical for both personal and professional fulfillment and success. These lessons, while well integrated into classroom curricula, transcend classroom walls to inspire students’ day-to-day thinking and our culture in general. This is why our graduates are accepted into the most competitive independent secondary schools in the St. Louis area.

Our low student-to-teacher ratios enable us to provide a highly personalized, premier preparatory experience to Second through Sixth Grade students. Our 8:1 student-to-teacher ratio in these classrooms is a real ratio that you will see in action.
