Spanish Teacher
Chesterfield Day School is seeking a Spanish teacher to begin on August 1, 2013. The Spanish teacher provides instruction to students in in the toddler program through the sixth grade. The ideal candidate should be an enthusiastic, bright, experienced team player who has an educational philosophy consistent with the school’s. He/she should have a demonstrated ability to implement best practice approaches in teaching children foreign languages. Candidates should have at least two years of elementary / early childhood foreign language education teaching experience and an undergraduate or graduate degree in education (with curricular emphasis in foreign language). Montessori and team teaching experience is a plus.
This position is a .75 FTE position and upon interviewing candidates will be provided a sample schedule. Chesterfield Day School provides a competitive salary as well as a benefit package including partial-tuition remission (50% tuition remission per child of a FTE) at the School.
