On May 19, the Sixth Grade Musical, Seussical Jr. was a hit in front of a sellout crowd of 400+. Proceeds from ticket sales were donated to Operation Food Search, the class philanthropy project selection.
Every year the sixth grade learns from position papers about issues affecting the St. Louis community. They write persuasive papers, interview executive directors, and select one local agency for a cause they adopt. This year, Operation Food Search collected nearly $4000 from proceeds from the annual musical production. The play is a rite of passage for graduates.
