Welcome from the Director of Admissions

Greetings and welcome to Chesterfield Day School! I gladly accepted the role of Admissions Director because during my first 12 years at the School, as a teacher and principal, the more I learned about this very special school, the more I wanted to share my passion with potential families who are interested in a private independent school education which combines Montessori toddler and preschool approaches, and transitions to an accelerated and academically rigorous upper elementary program. Our families come from our immediate Chesterfield neighborhood, and from every neighborhood in the St. Louis, St. Louis County, and St. Charles County. Because we offer rolling admissions, and because our program is completely personalized to challenge and engage every single student, we are an attractive alternative to public elementary schools, and an exceptional choice for preschool early education, for families who relocate to St. Louis from all over the world. Chesterfield Day School remains a first choice elementary school for parents who utilize referral sources and relocation services when they make their initial move to St. Louis, MO.
