Investing In Our Future:

Last year, our Toddler and Preschool faculty received 73 days of professional development in 7 cities and our Kindergarten-Grade 6 faculty received 163 days of training in 10 cities. That's in addition to faculty-wide training in technology, reading instruction, and the the writers' project, plus one Masters' Degree coursework and one Ph.D. coursework. Chesterfield Day School boasts among the area's most experienced faculty with among the highest number of advanced degrees in our region.

Seeing Our Successes

Almost 60% of our 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students qualify for the Duke University Talent Identification Program which recognized the top 5% of students in a 16-state area for their standardized test performance. CDS students consistenly outperform students in public
