Technology
  • At Chesterfield Day School technology plays a substantive role within the curriculum beginning in second grade. Computers for student use are located in every classroom from Kindergarten through six and support curricular instruction in a developmentally appropriate manner.
Montessori Moment
  • Attending a Montessori program from the approximate ages of three predicts significantly higher mathematics an science standardized test scores in high school and on the ACT.
  • By the end of Kindergarten Montessori children performed better on standardized tests of reading and math, engaged in more positive interaction on the playground, and showed more concern for fairness and justice.
