Financial Aid
The Board of Trustees of Chesterfield Day School annually approves a financial aid budget. Whenever possible, the School tries to meet the demonstrated financial need of accepted families applying for aid; however, we often have more requests than money available. Financial aid is available only to students in preschool through 6th grade. Chesterfield Day School uses the services of FACTS to assist in determining financial aid awards. FACTS is an independent vendor who assists over 6,000 institutions in the United States with financial-needs assessment.
Financial Aid Process
Step 1: Application for Admission
Complete the online admissions application on the Chesterfield Day School website. Financial aid applications will only be considered when a complete and finalized admissions application has been submitted to CDS.
Step 2: FACTS Application
Go to the FACTS website at www.factstuitionaid.com and follow the directions provided to complete a financial aid application for Chesterfield Day School. In addition to completing the online financial aid application, the School asks parents to provide a complete copy of their prior year's federal income tax return and to provide any other information that they would like the Financial Aid Committee to consider in reviewing their request.
Step 3: Decision
Once CDS receives your completed application from FACTS, the School's Financial Aid Committee will meet to consider the application and make a final award decision. You will receive written notice of your financial aid award.
Should you have any questions about the process, please feel free to contact the Director of Finance and Administration at 314-469-6622 or businessoffice@chesterfielddayschool.org.
