Room 321 Preschool Teacher Debbie Bott’s roots with CDS run deep. While both of her sons attended CDS, Debbie volunteered in various capacities, including as a member of the Board of Directors and Fantasm auction chair. Her professional career began in Williamsburg, Iowa where she taught sixth grade for three years, followed by three years teaching fourth and fifth grades in the Ladue School District. She was the CDS toddler assistant teacher for a year and a half while she completed her Montessori teacher certification through the Missouri Montessori Teacher Education Program, and she assumed the lead teacher role from 1990 to 1998. Before returning to her CDS roots in 2008, Debbie taught kindergarten at Central Christian School in Clayton for seven years. A native of St. Louis, she graduated from DePauw University and now makes her home in Brentwood.
