Christina started her teaching career in St. Louis after graduating from Saint Louis University. She taught third grade for a number of years until having her first child with husband Mike. After the birth of their second daughter, she returned to teaching as a Literacy Coach and later as a fifth grade teacher. In 2011-12 she began working at CDS as the Technology Teacher for the Upper Elementary grades and as an assistant in the K-1 classroom. Christina is eager to bring her past experiences to the 2-3 classroom at CDS. She hopes you and your children will find the year interesting and challenging in a warm, supportive environment. She feels children have individual styles and personalities and looks forward to getting to know everyone through what they write, read, and create during the year together. Christina is very excited to be joining the CDS family as a full-time teacher!
